Dr. Gia is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in the state of Texas and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her clinical experience dates back to 2002 when she became a behavior therapist for children with autism soon after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 2003, she opened and directed a non-profit organization in Puerto Rico that provided applied behavior analysis (ABA) home-based therapy for children with developmental disorders. She received her formal ABA training from Penn State University in 2005 and an autism certification from Penn State in 2007.
Concurrently, as she directed her ABA program, Dr. Gia received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 2008. Most of her training was focused on psychological and neuropsychological assessments, bilingual psychotherapy, and evidence-based individual therapy for children and adolescents for a variety of difficulties including ADHD, behavior disorders, depression, anxiety, and family conflict.
Since 2009, Dr. Gia has dedicated her clinical work to the assessment and treatment of developmental disorders through her collaboration with various agencies in San Antonio and through her post-doctoral training with the Center for Autism and Related Disorders. Her current interests include Pivotal Response Training (PRT) for children with autism spectrum disorders, evidence-based practices for children and adolescents, psychological assessments, naturalistic and peer-mediated interventions, parent training, quality supervision, and bilingual applications of behavioral practices.

Program Director, Early Intensive Program
Kayleigh has been providing ABA therapy to young children since 2012. Prior to beginning in ABA, she worked in the community mental health field. Kayleigh received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University with a certificate in ABA and a certificate in autism. Kayleigh is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, serves as an ABA Case Supervisor and is Program Director of the Early Intensive Program. Kayleigh and her husband, Brandon, have a beautiful young girl and two adorable miniature schnauzers.
Program Director, Extended Learning Program
Annie has been providing ABA therapy with children since 2011. Prior to beginning in ABA, she worked in assisted independent living programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Annie completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, where she studied psychology and special education. Annie received her Master’s degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio in Special Education with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and serves as the Program Director for the Extended Learning Program and as an ABA Case Supervisor. Annie and her husband Waynne have one son and two spoiled rescue dogs. They enjoy anything and everything related to sports.
Program Director, FLEx Program
Hallie began providing ABA therapy with children in 2009. Hallie immediately fell in love with the field and graduated from UTSA with a B.A. in Psychology in 2014. She earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2015. Hallie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and serves as Program Director for the FLEx program and as an ABA Case Supervisor. Hallie and her husband, Chad, have two very loved dogs, Bane and Lincoln.
Gianna has been providing ABA therapy to young children since 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia where she studied communication across the lifespan. Gianna received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2015. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and serves as an ABA Case Supervisor. Gianna enjoys remaining active by playing a variety of sports and spending time with her family.
Sarah began providing ABA to children in 2014. Prior to beginning ABA she worked in the clinical neuropsychology field. Sarah is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and serves as an ABA Case Supervisor. Sarah enjoys traveling to new places and searching for as many gluten free desserts as she can find.
Laurie has been providing ABA Therapy at Blossom since 2016. Being born and raised in Germany, she completed her B.Sc in Psychology at the University of Hamburg before moving to the US. She received her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University before becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 cats, Barkley and Baloo, as well as travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures.
Monica has been providing ABA therapy to young children since 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she studied psychology. Monica received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2017. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Monica enjoys lifting weights, writing music, and finding new activities to enjoy with her husband and their chiweenie, Olive.
Samantha started providing ABA therapy to children at Blossom in 2015. She received her B.A. in Psychology and her Master's degree in Special Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in May 2018. Samantha enjoys traveling to Disneyworld and spends her weekends figure skating.
Shea has been providing ABA to children since 2016. Shea received her B.S in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Shea is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Shea enjoys traveling to mountain ranges and collecting vinyl records.
Stephanie has been working with young children since 1977. She holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Stephanie is a former elementary school teacher and served as the director of childcare facilities for nine years. Stephanie is a mother of three children and a grandmother of five!
Jenniffer earned her Office Medical Administration certification in 2014 and began working as the Billing Assistant for Blossom later that year. In 2015 Jenniffer became Blossom’s Billing Specialist. Jenniffer and her husband, Carlos, have a wonderful young daughter, Marissa. As a family, they spend as much time outdoors as weather permits.
Briana Pina, MBA
Briana joined the Blossom team in October 2016 as the Office Coordinator for the Blanco location and transitioned as Human Resources Coordinator when she completed her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources. Briana and her family enjoy spending as many weekends as possible traveling and creating new memories.
Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Master’s degree in Administration. Melissa served in the military for over 12 years and also as a Behavioral Health NCO for 9 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and teaching ESL to young children on the weekends.
